Welcome to MotoFest where engines roar and wheels spin in a buzz of excitement! Prepare yourselves for a thrilling journey through Coventry city centre and get ready to indulge in your love for all things automotive.

On the 1st & 2nd June 2024, Coventry City Centre will transform into a playground for car fanatics, enthusiasts, and families alike. Come and see live motorsport on Coventry’s ring road, classic car displays and parades, manufacturer displays, Coventry Concours, art, film, music and more.

For ten years, MotoFest has stood as a celebration of transport heritage whilst welcoming the latest innovations that shape the vehicles of tomorrow and it proudly marks its 10th anniversary in 2024. Last year over 200,000 people attended the event and it’s now the UK’s largest urban festival of cars and bikes. Sponsored by E.ON, MotoFest will deliver an even bigger and better programme of attractions this year.

So, mark your calendars and rev up your engines because Motofest is gearing up to deliver an unforgettable weekend.

What will you see?

Static Car Displays

Check out the greatest examples of two and four-wheeled vehicles displayed throughout the City. Categories include classic cars, modified cars, motorcycles and commercial and agricultural vehicles. Individual owners and car clubs will be displaying their pride and joys.

Coventry Concours

Coventry Concours is the MotoFest take on a ‘Concours d’Elegance’ competition. In the stunning grounds of Coventry Cathedral ruins, there will be a display of the most gorgeous cars with a Coventry connection. You’ll see vehicles built or designed in Coventry between 1896 and 2024 and in peak condition. 

Motorsport at MotoFest

Smoke. Rubber. Noise. Check out the past, present and future of motorsport in the Drift Arena, AutoTest Arena and Sprint Circuit.

Coventry Sprint Circuit- Watch as Coventry’s famous ring road is transformed into a unique city centre street circuit alive with the spectacle of live motorsport.  BARC Midlands will be running the Circuit for the weekend and featuring the best of past, present and future vehicles in their championship rounds and demonstration laps.

Drift Arena – Returning to White Street Coach Park, the drift arena brings noise, smoke and rubber. With electric drifting included, this truly is a celebration of the present and future of motorsport.

AutoTest Arena – Located under the ring road on Gosford Street, check out the AutoTest Arena, where competitors take part in Regional & National Championship rounds. Think high precision moves and slaloms all done at speed!

Music & Culture

There’s a lot more to MotoFest than just cars. There will also be multiple stages dotted around MotoFest where you can enjoy local up and coming artists and cover bands playing the classics we know and love!

How much does a ticket cost?

The majority of MotoFest is a free, non-ticketed event with all expenses covered by the exhibitors, sponsors and partners. All you have to do is turn up! There are a small number of activities which will have a charge.

Who is the event for?

Everyone! From the seasoned petrolheads to the youngest aficionados, there’s something here for everyone. MotoFest is a safe, welcoming, family-friendly event. They recommend you bring ear defenders for young and noise-sensitive children as the event can be very loud at times. There will also be a range of activities specially chosen to engage and entertain our younger visitors such as Mini Rovers, fairground rides and facepainting.
