Simon Spillett is one of the UK’s most celebrated tenor saxophonists, with a 25-year career spanning award-winning performances, quartet and big band leadership, recordings, authorship, and more. Yet at heart, he’s a master of swinging, straight-ahead jazz, effortlessly taking audiences on a journey from exhilarating bebop to tender ballads.

A charismatic and witty performer, Simon has graced sold-out gigs at major festivals including the EFG London Jazz Festival, Brecon, Swanage, Scarborough, and Ronnie Scott’s, becoming a true fixture on the UK jazz scene. His passion for jazz is infectious, whether he’s playing, writing, or sharing his knowledge of the music’s rich history.
